Genre: Experimental, drone/post-rock
Maybe Sabers isn't as dynamic as GY!BE here, but they are still relevant, and I dare say I'd recommend them to fans of that band along with another similar outfit, Earth. An experimental silence stretches out from the first track, and then a harsh, heavy atmosphere slowly begins to blow in on "Golden Green". The true post-rock offering is only heard through "Lion Pose" and "Emeritus"—yes, wrapped in that drone/doom metal vibe.
To be honest, there was a bit of annoyance when going through the first two opening tracks, but at the very least, I haven't reached my breaking point yet. It's a decent album despite can't pick any.
