After quite a long journey, we’ve finally arrived at 6:04’s last EP, which comes with an even stranger title and I honestly have no idea how to pronounce it. Is it Morse code? Apparently not. Unfortunately, the album description on Blade Records’ Bandcamp page uses the same style, leaving a mystery I can’t decipher.
The title is ⊔Ո∴ •Ω— ∴L⏁ ᘰL ⊂:ᒕᒕ—Ω—⊥⨀?—confusing, right?—and it was released on July 16, 2024. It contains seven tracks with a total length of just eight minutes. The track titles are just as strange, so I’ll simply refer to them by order.
The first track is extremely minimal, consisting only of faint noise flashes. The following sound concepts remain consistent with Are You Aware? and Made Collector, using dark ambient-like waves mixed with audio samples or field recordings, now with clearer echo effects.
The most “normal” dark ambient flow appears on the third track, “V L Ↄ ⊂ ᘰ ⏁ Ω Ω L \ • ⨀ —,” followed by the fifth track. The second, fourth, and sixth tracks are the noisiest, while the closing track sounds the driest, focusing on lower tones.
So, despite the incomprehensible title, this final EP reinforces the noise/dark ambient direction 6:04 has been pursuing, highlighted by the two main tracks mentioned above. Still, Made Collector remains the peak of their discography.
